Description: Didelphodon is a genus of marsupials known from the Late Cretaceous of North America, and particularly the Hell Creek Formation of Montana, Lance Formation of Wyoming, and Scollard Formation of Alberta, Canada. It was among the larger Mesozoic mammals being similar in size to a house cat. Its specialized teeth having blade like cusps and carnassial notches suggest it was a predator. This fossil is a worn premolar tooth of Didelphodon from Hell Creek.
