Dechenella and Greenops Trilobites Association from New YorkDescription: Presented is a wonderful and aesthetically pleasing association of two classic New York trilobite genus. The prize is certainly the rare Dechenella. It is not perfect, with a bit of erosion to the top of the eyes and some minor disarticulation between the cephalon and thorax. Overall the specimen has excellent presence, color and is 3D. The Greenops is missing the right genal spine and about half of the left genal. The eyes are in good shape as is the thorax and pygidium. A bit of skin is missing on the glabella. The Greenops exhibits a slightly lighter shade of brown, compared to the Dechenella. Overall, this is an excellent display quality plate and would complement any collection of Devonian or New York trilobites.
