TrimerusDescription: Alas, if this specimen were fully intact it would be worth well over $1000.00. This is one of the USA’s largest trilobite species. It is characterized by its long length and robust look. This one has a few preservation problems. The matrix was cracked and repaired. The cehpalon is disarticulated from the thorax. Surprisingly, the left side of the cephalon is folded over and appears on the rear matrix, though the eye is missing. The right eye was re-glued to the cephalon. Still, considering how difficult these are to find in pristine condition, this is a desirable acquisition. It is fully 3D, has excellent color, and presence.
