Cyphaspis ceratophthalmus TrilobiteDescription: Here is a nice treat for the specialist Eifel Formation, or European trilobite collector. It is a hard to find Cyphaspis ceratophthalmus from Germany. Of notable interest is the inflated glabella and long outwardly thrust genals. It was collected at the classic “Pelm-Salmer Weg” in Gees. Overall it is well preserved. There is a little skin missing on the glabella. The thorax has a bit of curvature, the pygidum is preserved.
