NeseuretusDescription: Valongo trilobites are easily recognized by their ghostly appearance. They are normally compressed, distorted, and the matrix has a slatey appearance. This one is part of a small batch of large and well-preserved specimens that I just procured. For the aforementioned reasons, these are amongst some of my favorite trilobites.

This one is fully 3D, has excellent color and presence. Neseuretus tristani is not a rare species. However, one of this impressive size and aesthetics is quite collectable

This formation is a monotonous succession of marine silty mudrocks transformed into dark slate by low regional metamorphism.
