Description: Second only to the ubiquitous Elrathia kingii, Asaphiscus are collected in the same quarries. However, though common, Asaphiscus are not nearly as numerous. Here is a fully mature adult with excellent preservation and color from the classic collecting area adjacent to the Wheeler amphitheater.
