Description: Heartbreakers are those fossil finds that would have been exquisite but for one major irreparable flaw. On this one, it is the missing right side of the thorax. It is missing on both the positive and negative sides. Minor flaws are the missing right genal spine and the tip of the opistothorax, which runs off the plate. The Nevadia itself is wonderfully preserved detail wise, with tremendous visceral eye appeal and aesthetics. It rests on a large irregular shaped plate of olive drab shale. Had it been complete, you can bet the price would have been triple of my current asking price.
