Gabriellus ianceatusDescription: This is one of the premier acquisitions I made in the last year. What avid collector of Lower Cambrian trilobites would not consider this a rare opportunity? The well-respected trilobite specialist Ben Cooper masterfully prepared it. He set the trilobite off from the surrounding matrix with a halo effect, enhancing the specimen’s presence. This is patiently and skillfully achieved by using a high-powered microscope and super fine air abrasion tools.

Only a small batch of Gabriellus were recently collected under very difficult conditions. This is one of the largest and best preserved of the lot. The preservation and detail are close to perfect, especially when the delicacy and spinyness of the specimen is taken into consideration. It is the only one I have to offer, and I do not expect to find these available in the future. Don’t let this unique opportunity pass you by. The specimen will be shipped in a specially prepared box with framing.
