Description: This plate displays a rarely seen example of a trilobite found in the Early Cambrian deposits of Tazmourte, Morocco. This trilobite is a member of the Order Redlichiida, Family Saukiandidae Subfamily Resseropinae which is rarely seen in any state of preservation due to its thinly calcified exoskeleton. This one has been deeply excised from the matrix to accent the specimen in high relief. This is sure to become a cornerstone of any collection of Early Cambrian trilobites from Morocco.
