Description: Here is a “worm” of unknown affinities. There are some annulations but it is difficult to assign past Polychaeta, the oldest of the known annelids. Polychaetes diversified in the Ordovician, while the Oligochaetes appeared in the Cretaceous as body fossils, but fecal pellets purportedly from earthworms have been found as far back as the Triassic.
