ModociaDescription: Coming from the Cambrian Marjum Formation deposits of Millard County, Utah this is a fine example of a trilobite of the genus Modocia. This is a less-commonly seen species which has affinities with M. brevispina which derives its name from its short spines. This one is missing only the exoskeletonm from the left tip of the pygidium, and is a large example of the type.
