ModociaDescription: Coming from the Cambrian Marjum Formation deposits of Millard County, Utah, this is a fine example of a trilobite of the genus Modocia. The species derives its name from the abbreviated genal spines, readily seen here, as opposed to those seen on Modocia typicalis (see my other offerings).
