Description: This trilobite represented a ceratin amount of detective work. There are several Ordovician trilobites with tailspines, but most are dalmanitids. This one is a member of the family Ascastidae. There are three known genera, Baniaspis, Phacopidina, and Sokhretia. Of those this most resembles Baniaspis, so for now we will use CF Baniaspis.
