Aeger armatusDescription: This specimen is impeccably well preserved. My photos unfortunately do not portray the fantastic preservation of the head, comb-like arms and antennae of the specimen. This species is quite rare and seldom offered. Absolutely no enhancement was performed on the specimen. These deposits were formed in a warm salt-water lagoon. All kinds of plants and animals were incredibly well preserved, including soft bodied organisms and the world's most famous fossil, the early bird Archeopteryx.
