These assorted teeth come from a horse that roamed Florida during the last Ice Age, over 10,000 years ago. The horse originated in America. Approximately 10,000 years ago the Horse went extinct in the Americas, probably due to rapid environmental changes and over hunting. It was re-introduced to the Americas when the Spanish colonized in the 16th century.
