Intermediacrinus Crinoid FossilDescription: This is the prize specimen from a batch just purchased from an Alabama collector. He has invested a few decades focused solely on fossils from the Bangor Formation. According to him of all the crinoid species to be found in this formation, this is by far the most rare. Only a few were collected from one small isolated area. This specimen is fully 3D and inflated with virtually no crushing or distortion. The most obvious physical trait, are the spike like projections that line the arms. This is the only one I have to offer of this species.
