Antrimpos Solnhofen Fossil ShrimpDescription: This specimen is large for the species. Notice the excellent preservation of the legs, and body skin. Absolutely no enhancement was performed on the specimen. These deposits were formed in a warm salt-water lagoon. All kinds of plants and animals were incredibly well preserved, including soft bodied organisms and the world's most famous fossil Archeopteryx, an early bird. I acquired all my Solnhofen material from my German collector friend. He lives by a public quarry and gets to dig all he wishes.
