Phanocrinus CrinoidDescription: This specimen is fully 3D and inflated with virtually no crushing or distortion. It is exceptionally well preserved with the full calyx, arms, and pinnules present. Phanocrinus are the most abundant crinoid species found in the Bangor Limestone.

This fine specimen is part of a batch recently purchased from an Alabama fossil collector. He has invested a few decades focused solely on fossils from the Bangor Formation.
