NeseuretusDescription: This is an example of the calymenid trilobite Neseuretus tristani from the Ordovician of France. The calymenids are a group of trapezoidally-shaped trilobites with highly furrowed bodies that arose during the Ordivician. Many have a similar body plan, indicative of its successful form. While often found enrolled, there are many prone examples as well. The genus is also known from localities in Portugal and Spain.
