Albertella cf longwelliDescription: Uncommon member of the Order Corynexochida, Family Zacanthoididae, with detailed spines, a feature often not preserved intact. This one is a mature specimen with more flaring spines and different glabellar morphology than younger examples (see my other offerings). While it was presented to me as Albertella longwelli, there is some question as to whether it is actually another species. Whatever the case, specimens are few and far between, and highly sought after by collectors, with few available with this level of completeness.
