Description: I have just recently been able to secure a selection of Early Silurian trilobites from Northeastern Quebec Province, Canada. This is another in a series which I will be posting. all of which are quite rare. This one is Calymene nowlani, another trilobite described some ten years ago by Chatterton et al. It is essentially free of matrix, and is missing only a small amount of the original shell. Notice the hypostome preserved in life position.
