Rare Silurian TrilobitesDescription: I have just recently been able to secure a selection of Early Silurian trilobites from Northeastern Quebec Province, Canada. This is another in a series which I will be posting. all of which are quite rare. As far as I am aware, a plate such as this has never been offered before. While only consisting of fragmentary remains, fragments of many of these taxa are all that are know. The fragments are quite diagnostic; for example the hypostome of Calymene nowlani possesses a post-like process known from no other species (see my other offerings for a near-complete example of this rare species). The location is most difficult to access, and few have ever collected there. It is the ONLY such example I have to offer, one that affords an opportunity to add no less than TEN rare taxa to any trilobite collection at a most affordable price.
