Myopsolenus staminops Moroccan TrilobiteDescription: This plate displays a fine positive/negative example of a trilobite known as Myopsolenus (Hamatolenus) staminops, a member of the Order Ptychopariida, Family Ellipsocephalidae. The free cheeks are tightly attached, an uncommon occurrence, and the genal and pleural spines complete. Few trilobites are offered as both the part/counterpart, making this a truly unique example to add to any collection. While both appear as positives, that is an optical illusion. The left of the pair is the positive.
