Paralejurus rehamnanus TrilobiteDescription: Fine example of a member of the Order Corynexochida, Family Styginidae known as Paralejurus rehamnanus. It was originally known as P. dormitzieri rehamnanus, but discovery of two complete specimens showed it to be a similar but distinct species. This one is quite large, as WIDE as most are LONG, The streamlined shape of this trilobite is thought to have aided it in burrowing through the seafloor in search of a meal.
