Undescribed Moroccan Agnostid TrilbiteDescription: This is a fine example of an Ordovician Agnostid trilobite. The Order Agnostida is represented in Morocco by only a few taxa. Currently only some Eodiscids and Condylopyge have been described. This one is neither of those. It looks most like a Peronopsis. Note the tiny spines projecting off the pygidium. I sought the assistance of a well-known collector of trilobites whose encyclopedic knowledge of trilobites is legend. He told me he has only seen a couple like this. It is the FIRST and ONLY example I have.

Harpides is another undescribed Ordovician Trilobite from Draa Valley.
