Description: This one is a bit of a dilemma to characterize. It looks most like Flexicalymene senaria, a taxon woefully in need of the revision that is reportedly underway. Some FOUR different trilobites are called F. senaria. One, from, the famous Walcott-Rust quarry, is quite pustulose, while another is less so. Yet another is relatively smooth-skinned like this one. This looks the most like the one typically termed F. senaria, so let’s stay with F. cf senaria for now. A large example, it has a flattened matrix base for easy self-display.
