Norwoodia bellaspina Utah TrilobiteDescription: Only a handful of these trilobites have ever been found and it is one of the rarest Weeks' formation species. Two spines distinguish it. One comes off the base of the glabella and the other off an axial lobe of the upper thorax. This specimen has both spines intact. This specimen is in good condition, with the right genal spine reconstructed. There is some abrasion to the detail on the face of the cephalon. This one is of typical size for an adult of this species.
