Calymene clavicula TrilobiteCalymene clavicula is a Calymenid trilobite (Order: Phacopida; Family: Calymenidae) coming from the Silurian Henryhouse Formation strata of Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. As such, it is substantially older than the Devonian material for which Oklahoma is famous. This trilobite was collected and prepared by Bob Carroll, a world-renowned preparator of Oklahoma Devonian trilobites in a location away from his Black Cat Mountain quarry. Others may use less care, resulting in a less desirable specimen. This is a very well-inflated example, and would make a excellent addition to any collection of Oklahoma trilobites. This is the LAST example I have, and is most likely never to be repeated as Bob only had them one year of the 11 I have been to the Tucson show.
