Kainops raymondi Oklahoma TrilobitesDescription: Well-preserved example of a member of the Order Phacopida, Family Phacopidae, with fine preservation. This trilobite was prepared by Don Campbell, the cousin of Bob Carroll, a world-renowned preparator of Oklahoma Devonian trilobites., under Bob’s tutelage (see label). This trilobite was once called Paciphacops, but is differentiated from that genus by the larger number of eye facets (see my other offerings for an example of Paciphacops).
