CeratargesDescription: Well-preserved example of a member of the Order Lichida, Subfamily Ceratarginae with dramatic cephalic spines and eyestalks prepared freestanding. A fine example of this frequently sought-after species of alien aspect, with the specimen well-centered on its light matrix. This one appears to be an intermediate form between armatus and the spine-on-spine type seen infrequently (see my other offerings for a DRAMATIC example), as shown by the small subspines seen on the pleurals.
