Modocia brevispina TrilobiteDescription: Coming from the Cambrian Pierson Cove Formation deposits of Millard County, Utah, this is a large example of a trilobite of the genus Modocia. The species derives its name from the abbreviated genal spines, readily seen here, as opposed to those seen on Modocia typicalis.
