Pavlovia Jurassic AmmonitesDescription: A spectacular collection of three Pavlovia ammonites, this display catches the eye from every aspect. These ammonites are best known for their distinctively-ribbed shells, shown here as they are preserved in rich beige Calcite. Even some of the intricate suturing pattern is present. The species derives its name from the river by which the first specimens were found, just as these were, in deposits from near the Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary.
