The Green River Formation has a rich diversity of fossil flora. Among, the delicate flower fossils are among the hardest to obtain, especially those of this exceptional quality. Two flowers are on this matrix, one unidentified. The Antholithes has very fine stamen preservation. The flowers are also in association with many fossil ants (Hymenopterans).
