From what I have been able to learn, this is the most complete specimen of this genus ever found in the Carboniferous strata of Utah, a time when only the Proetid trilobites remained on earth. I have previously only found pygidiums, and even they are rare. Trilobites have never been found at this locality before, while the Ely Limestone has been collected for decades for horn corals.

Three species of brachiopods and a couple of stick sponges are in the association. The brachiopods are Spiriferina sp., Cliothyridina sublamellosa, Chonetes granulifer.
