This fossil trackways plate was collected decades ago from a site that has been only recently rediscovered. Most probably, the area was a near-shore shelf along Uinta Lake that existed during the Eocene.

This is a very interesting ichnofossil association, containing two bird ichnogenera, three insect types and some worm trails. One partial bird track shows a good claw and skin impression. You can ever see the mud being pushed to the side. There are also more bird tracks on the reverse side.
