Lacertilia (Lizard) IchnofossilThis plate contains a finely-preserved track of a member of the Lacertilia, or lizards, from the Green River Formation of Utah. With over 4500 extent members, it is the largest group of reptiles. They have adapted to nearly every environment with the exception of the polar regions. This track is quite large, and thus indicative of a fairly large lizard; it would make a fine addition to any ichnofossil collection.
