AcrosaleniaThis is a club urchin known as Acrosalenia from the Jurassic of Libya. They derive their common name from the club-like spines so obvious here. The upper specimen has most of the spines intact, while the lower example is spine free, allowing you to see the test (shell) unobstructed. There are several detached spines which could be replaced by the buyer should they choose to do so. Few of these are offered, rendering this both a highly unusual and most unique specimen.
