Liocalymene clintoni West Virginia TrilobiteDescription: I found a small pocket of these at a blasting site for Hwy 55 improvements outside of Wardensville, West Virginia a few years ago. It was an incredibly lucky find as acres of rock in the surrounding blasting zone were mostly vacant of any kind of fossils. This is the LAST one I have to offer. It is very well preserved. It’s a “popper” with no surrounding matrix. Note the defining characteristic is a cephalon free of ribs as ornamentation.
