Gargantiana AmmonitesDescription: France is fortunate to have a bountiful array of ammonite genera preserved in its Jurassic deposits. This specimen is very well preserved example. Note the interesting preservation of the ribs. They split into two veins as they angle into the distinctive keel. The specimen resides comfortably on a flat matrix base.
