Paraptychopyge Rare Russian Ordovician Trilobite

Description: A well-inflated example of a scarce Asaphid, this is Paraptychopyge cincta. It differs fom the contemporary P. trucatus in the shape of the pygidium, larger eyes, and lack of trracing to the cephalon (although there are fine terrace lines to the pygidium). The golden Calcite expskeleton is complemented by the white limestone matrix. This one is offered at an exceptionally reasonable price for such a fine example.
