Pseudasaphus tecticaudatusDescription: A well-inflated example of a scarce Asaphid, this is Psedasaphus tecticaudatus. The golden Calcite expskeleton is complemented by the white limestone matrix, with the trilobite shown in a slightly reflexed position. Some researchers believe this is actually a specicies of Leningradites (see my other offerings for an example). It certainly resembles that taxon quite closely, especially in the elongated, swept-back genal spines. If so, this is the most affordable example you will ever come across.
