Cambrian Arthropodichnus Ichnofossil from VermontDescription: This trackway looks like some ascribed to trilobites, but may have been made by some other arthropod. The sides of the trackway are not completely parallel, almost as if the arthropod was using the limbs on one side to scrabble for a meal. The detail is quite good, with the specimen affording a most unique opportunity to own a moment in time frozen for over 500 million years. See my other offerings for an example made by an arthropod from the Carboniferous of Tasmania.
