Colorful Megalodon Shark ToothDescription: Description: This is a fine example of a tooth from the most sought-after shark Carcharodon (or Charcharocles) megalodon. Notice the fine serrations present on this specimen of a shark which grew to be in excess of 20 METERS. There is quite a degree of variability of the color of these teeth as a consequence of the minerals in the water when the deposit was formed. This one is a rich brown, and comes in a Riker type display box, making it a fine presentation specimen.
