Description: This is a stem and branches of a plant unknown to me. If it had segmentation to the stem and more side branches, I would have been inclined to assign it to the horsetails.The region from which these remarkable fossils come has been closed to collecting; the only way to acquire one now is from an old collection, as is the case here.
