Lower Cretaceous Fossil PlantDescription: The deposits of the Liaoning and Hebei Provinces of China are best known for their wonderful faunal assemblages, but plants are preserved as well. This fantastic diversity and exquisite detail is unprecedented throughout the world. This is a flowering body from an as yet undescribed taxon. I was only able to secure a few examples of plants with my last group of Yixian insects. They comprised less than 10% of the specimens I received.
