Raninoides oregonensis Crab FossilDescription: This is a member of the Raninidae, or Frog Crabs thought by some researchers to be a very Raninoidesprimitive family. Note the unusual carapace and the preserved front limbs on this crab with most atypical morphology thought to be an adaptation for digging in the substrate.
