Molaria ArthropodDescription: This unusual specimen shows a characteristic part of a most unusual whip-tailed arthropod known as Molaria. It is best known from some 100 specimens found in the Burgess Shale, but is alsoMolaria known from the Cambrian of Utah and Nevada, albeit typically only as fragmentary material. A similar arthropod with more tergites and a pustulose exoskeleton is Habelia. Few examples are found; even fewer are ever offered to the general public.
