Lebonichthys Fish FossilsDescription: This is a fine example of a fish colloquially termed an antenna codlet. The anterior dorsal fin consists of a single ray, and the elongated pectoral fins together are the derivation of the common name. The elongated pectorals are quite obvious in this fine specimen. The genus persists today with 12 species found in tropical and subtropical marine environments.
