Ctentophora FossilsDescription: Comb jellies derive their name from the groups of cilia that allow them to move through the water column. They persist from the Cambrian of Chengjiang, the Burgess Shale of Canada, and now from the Wheeler Shale of Utah. Due to the fact that they are wholly soft-bodied, they are rarely seen as fossils, even from those well-known Lagerstätte, making this part/counterpart example most unusual.
