Parvulonoda dubiaDescription: This unusual specimen is Parvulonoda dubia, known from only a few examples. This one is far larger than most, and its nodose surface and conico-cylindrical shape remind some of the sponges like Sentinella of the Burgess Shale. No spicules have ever been discovered, so its assignment as a possible sponge remains in doubt. This exceedingly rare taxon is only known from the Chengjiang Biota.
